Mahder Tella, Creative Director
Mahder Tella is best known for her 3D portrait, sting art made from roofing nails and string. Her art style also includes but is not limited to photography, painting, digital art, and resin sculptures. She has learned to appreciate the blend of beauty, power, and great pain from her home region of Tigray. The Hilltop, the nation's oldest black collegiate newspaper, featured her most recent piece, "The Sun Also Rises In Tigray."

Betelhem Weldegebriel, Exhibitions & Curatorial Lead
Betelhem Tquabo Weldegebriel is a multi-ethnic Ethiopian born and bred in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She is an emerging curator, writer and lover of food and art. She aspires to change perspectives and elevate people’s lives through revolutionary works of art and critical thought inspired storytelling. Betelhem is the founder of Bells House Gallery in which she focuses on supporting emerging and mid-career artists of the Global Majority. She is currently prioritizing works by the African Diaspora and Black American art.
