Come and support Tigrayan artists, Hlina and Yeshi, as we showcase their culturally rich and meaningful artwork live on Instagram on March 8th at 7pm EST. These talented artists have committed themselves to supporting victims of sexual violence being treated at Ayder Hospital, as well as those who are homeless and lack support. Their goal is to assist 2000 victims, and they have been working tirelessly to provide financial support and aid to those in need.

The theme "Roots of Identity" inspired young female Tigrayan artists residing in Mekelle to create a collection of paintings that reflect on the Tigrayan identity and the various atrocities inflicted upon them due to their identity. The artists aim to support the psychotherapeutic treatment of sexually abused Tigrayan women by donating all proceeds from the sale of these artworks to assist the victims.
